I bought this pass only 4 days ago and never activated it. Cost was £200.
i want a refund as races are being cancelled. We don’t watch any other sport. Despite spending hours on their online chat dealing with numptys and emailing complaints we are getting nowhere. Some people have managed a refund. According to their T&Cs we are entitled to cancel within 14 days.
we did purchase using a debit card. Can anyone help as I am finding this quite stressful

Finally managed to get a refund this morning after wasting several hours of my life. Anybody else who struggles will just have to be very persistent. If it wasn’t for F1 I would not go near them again! Customer service is beyond shocking

They’re obviously swamped with calls, cut them a bit of slack.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.2

More's the question why you bought a pass four days ago when the Chinese GP race was scrapped before that and it was increasingly obvious Australia wasn't going to happen...But yes, they're incredibly busy at the moment what with the sports situation, so need to cut quite a bit of slack under the circumstances.2

What you bought was a pass that allows you toGet exclusive coverage of every practice, qualifying and race throughout the seasonYou are still going to get that. The number of GPS being reduced doesn't alter the fact that you will still be able to do what the pass promises2

Notice how nowtv changed their website shortly after I got my refund.

I'm having a similar issue with regard to the F1 season pass (£198). I requested to cancel under the 14 day cooling off period and was told "I'm sorry but we aren't providing any refunds or cancellation at the moment." They then went on to say the pass was automatically activated upon purchase so the cooling off period didn't apply - has any one else experienced this?, i don't understand how they can have a cooling off period that would never be valid if the pass is automatically activated at point of purchase.0

Can anyone help as I am finding this quite stressfulMany of us have issues like this.
I paid £850 on my annual badge for [flat] horse racing. It is entirely probable there will not be any racing this year (due to start April, finishes October). It is not creating any undue stress whatsoever. So it is quite bizarre to claim it is stressful. Frustrating yes but stress???I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). No, that is not what they promised with the F1 pass. This is what the offer email said:unforeseen said:
They only promise to show all the races of the season which they will do. It just so happens that at the moment there are 4 less races than originally plannedImpo55ibleHu5ky said:I'm having a similar issue with regard to the F1 season pass (£198). Get revved up for the new season of high-octane F1® action with the NOW TV Sky Sports F1® Season Ticket. Watch all 22 race weekends live, across 9 months for a one-off £198 payment* (worth £305.91).
One-off payment / £198 / 9 month pass
That's just £9 per race weekend
The pass also entitles you to 9 months access to all Sports channels. You can watch the channels right now, but there are no live sports on there, so you are getting nothing of any real value, certainly nothing of equivalent value to what you paid for.
If you paid for 22 races and will never get 22 races (100% certain because Monaco is permanently cancelled), you've now paid for zero sport (until the season re-starts, so at least 3 months lost) and then a reduced number of races. By any measure at all, the contract is broken, so NowTV must provide a full refund, if requested. They do not.
EIGHT races have now been postponed or (in Monaco's case) permanently cancelled, and yet NowTV are still refusing to provide refunds to anyone. I know - I've been trying to get one for well over a week now, day in, day out.0 -
Same here. Tried to cancel within the 14 days cooling off period. Their chat has replied with:
- My Pass is excluded from refunds. Although there's no reference to this in the T&Cs.
- My account is set to auto renews payments.
- NowTVs terms have changed. Although their T&C page looks exactly the same and they couldn't point to a change in writing
