Red Ruby such good news. I was worried when we heard nothing last night or earlier this morning xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"8

Morning all - I was up and at 'em by 8.o'clock. Been to Marks for cakes, Waitrose for other stuff and Tesco for more other stuff!Waitrose was very busy and Tesco had very empty shelves. The checkout woman said that they have plenty of stock however they can't get it out fast enough. People began stocking up on pasta, when that ran out they are now buying rice! Madness...My lovely friend has done a drawing for the work in the kitchen along with dimensions and instructions for the trades, it makes it all so much easier. To add to the chaos inside the house the council began digging up the road outside at 7.30a.m. Now there's a huge amount of big kit out there, traffic lights and no parking. I managed to get fairly close on the main road. DM has been fed and watered, she's now 'resting' before her friend arrives for the afternoon of crosswords and Scrabble. I'll be lying down.REDRUBY - that's such good news and a great weight off your mind. Now it's forward for the operation and treatment.CAMELOT - what a houseful you've got. Hope it all goes well.Good vibes to all - Happy rest of Saturday to everyone.10

HAPPYCAS I saw that clip on the news earlier and thought how lovely to hear that amongst all the gloom and doom.
My friend in Oz rang me yesterday and said it's every bit as bad there with all the panic buying and stockpiling. There have been fights in some sm's, mainly over toilet rolls! I have been looking at photos posted by residents over there showing their pantries, cupboards and freezers absolutely overflowing with food. It sounds worse than here if that's possible. In contrast, on our local news yesterday it was saying how the food banks are struggling to supply people who cannot afford to stockpile due to people panic buying and keeping everything for themselves. Don't we live in a sad and selfish world."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"7 -

Afternoon all,Now got a bit of peace and quiet as DS has gone out with the children, they seem to have squabbled all morning
until I got them baking.
I was so happy to read your post RR, and glad you had a bit of a celebration, hugs.Apparently our local sm's have got lots of gaps - biscuits is the latest, although there has been a delivery of loo rolls at one of them.Need to go and look for something for tea, I didn't take anything out of the freezer.Stay safe and well everyone x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'.
