    Pretend?

Surely you have visited the store when they have had their bin-loads of cheap offers, even if you didn't buy anything?

Have you never taken a friend or family member?

Have you never been and paid cash, then thrown away the receipt after you had consumed the item?

Did you not do one of those things on the date of the alleged event?

A complaint looks like any other event where you have received poor goods or service. Cold food in a restaurant, an electrical item that didn't work, damaged goods discovered once the packaging was removed, items not fit for purpose, taking a day off for an engineer visit but nobody turned up, late delivery of groceries, missing items, a Yodel delivery where the status say delivery was complete but the item never arrived?

Have you never had to complain about anything?

As for an MP complaint, quote the comments in red from the first post of the NEWBIES. Ask how it can be fair that someone who was not in the vehicle at the time of the alleged event (the keeper) can be liable even though they were on holiday, or in hospital, or on a gap year, and would know nothing about this until they discovered they had been taken to court and received a CCJ without ever knowing about it.
State that the parking industry is completely unregulated and how unfair it is because they make their own rules to deliberately entrap a motorist.

'You and your family' MUST have shopped at Asda before, and of course you wouldn't keep receipts for food, for long!  Do you want this cancelled?  Do the easy route.

Asda need to hear more wrath from customers and potential local customers, about the threat and intimidation of getting a ParkingEye PCN.  These firms are horrendous and ParkingEye in particular do nothing useful whatsoever for drivers - zero.  They don't even bother to send anyone to check Blue Badges to ensure disabled people can park; nor do they 'manage the car park' not even at busy times to find a space at Christmas.  Nope.

They harvest numberplates then feed some statistics about 'footfall' to Asda, who swallow it and think it's great.  IT IS NOT.  This is not OK.

Asda have a direct route to cancel.  DO NOT COME BACK TELLING US YOU ONLY SPOKE TO JOBSWORTH JANET  ON THE CS DESK WHO (WRONGLY) TELLS YOU THAT ''PARKINGEYE OWN THE CAR PARK ASDA DON'T, AND THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO BUT YOU SHOULD APPEAL''.

When we say complain to Asda we mean the STORE MANAGER then the Head office, in 'angry customer mode'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • I get it now! I wasn't expecting it like that but it makes sense when you both put it that way! (Im not usually one to complain unless I feel its personal)
I'll get right on it and call the aldi store in question and ask to speak to the manager. I'll also email Aldi customer support and complain there and potentially on facebook too.
I also read some past posts about an Aldi representative named Laura/Rachel that dealt with these issues. Not sure if this is related but could be worth contacting if I can find her.

NO! Go to the store and ask to speak to the duty manager, nobody lower than that, and/or write to the CEO. A 'phjone call is not worth the paper on what it is writ.

A quick search of this Parking Board reveals this post:

    which tells us:
    ALDI UK
    Mr Giles Hurley Managing Director
    Email gmd.cs@aldi.co.uk

  • About to compose an email to Mr Giles Hurley - Managing Director of Aldi. Any advice on how I should word it?
Also I'll be heading back to Long Eaton this week so am planning to pay the store a visit and voice my complaint there also.
I understand that I need to ask for the duty manager and look angry >:( , is there anything within my complaint I should specifically mention?
Sorry for the ignorance, it isn't something I'm accustomed to doing so I just don't want to get it wrong :/

Well said  Ralph-y, so many people have not the first idea how to complain.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
