Transfer of isa

I have an ISA that I want to transfer to a fixed Isa, and I wanted to transfer some of the funds straight away, and more, including this year's funds within 14 days. The cashier said I would have to transfer all the money at the same time. I disputed this was the case and said that I wasn't splitting this year's funds but she was adamant she was correct.

Spoke to her manager who said I was right. He knows me too well. 

I opened the account with a nil balance, just to hedge bets if variable ISA rate goes down. I might open a different fixed isa to utilise next year's allowance which I can do with that account within 30 days. I just wanted to keep some money back for flexible withdrawal for a couple of weeks.

In any case, if she was correct, which she wasn't, I could flexible withdraw this year's money, transfer all the rest, and flexibly put it back in and transfer it anywhere I wanted to.

Yup that's what happened to you today. I had an important problem at work and forgot to put the bin out so my wife had to run down the street after the bin lorry and later I got told off. She was adamant she was correct.

Spoke to her mother who said I was right. She knows me too well.

In any case, if she was correct, which she wasn't, I could have just taken the bags down the dump or anywhere I wanted to.
