@jmilne never use the builders recommended financial advisor or solicitors, they get bunged a fee for the referral. A normal broker could probably have got a better mortgage company sorted out with a lot better interest rates than Bluestone.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

Well hopefully even Bluestone still give us the offer with us going into our overdrafts a little every month 🙈 our mortgage advisor said as long as you are not going over your planned overdraft each month then you should be ok.MovingForwards said:@jmilne never use the builders recommended financial advisor or solicitors, they get bunged a fee for the referral. I think I’m in the same boat as you?! I was told today by my broker that it’s going into final underwrite and to here next weds hopefully with an offer. It’s anxious waiting times isn’t itlewis27 said:Hi ,
we are hoping for mortgage through bluestone on help to buy.
We had our DIP weeks ago and have had several soft credit checks done I can see on file . It went last week for its first underwrite .. we where told it goes through one underwrite and this checks if they need any further DOcs etc then it goes for a final underwrite . The initial underwrite come back yersterday and they just simply requested a landlord reference which we have now got . I can see on my Experian though that a full hard search was carried out this time . Would it be safe to assume that the fact they have done this initial underwrite and now done a hard search and have simply just requested an additional document that it’s likely to now be fully accepted ? Went in for final underwrite yesterday and been told 5 working days .. thanks ..0 -

My application was submitted on 13th July. Paid for the valuation last week Wednesday and still awaiting for it to be booked in! Although I believe others have said it’s been quicker than that!iViewTV said:Application now submitted, what sort of time are we expecting for the underwriters to complete their checks?1 -
My application went in the 23rd July. Valuation is booked for Tuesday. This would have been quicker if my case wasn’t so complicated.newhomme20206 said:

Our application was submitted 14th August and our valuation is booked for 27th August. Our MA said that we should have an update from Bluestone around 3/4 September. So nerve racking !!!0
