OP lives 150m away. Nothing turning the tv up a little bit wouldnt stop during Bargain Hunt.Drawingaline said:I have walked past a primary school that was blasting out chart hits in the playground and all the kids were dancing about. It was crazy loud!!! It was lovely to witness as I walked by, but, yes I imagine as an everyday event it would be torture for anyone trying to work/sleep in the houses opposite, within 20m of the playground.0 -

For the time being yes, maybe even until Sepetember when schools go back if allowed to do.Jojo_the_Tightfisted said:Looks like your problem is now solved.0 -
Ah sure you're about to get a nice long break from it, and as soon as there is a date for the schools opening again get in there and make a darned nuisance of yourself till it's easier for them to modify the music than put up with you. Try to get an assurance from them it won't start up again "in the brave, new and very different world"Norn Iron Club member 4730

Not necessarily.Jojo_the_Tightfisted said:Looks like your problem is now solved.
Our school is staying open to look after certain categories of pupils. Even during the traditional school holidays.
Not so many pupils will be in but staff are still all expected to be here . . . so the music may continue0 -
There could well be more music. As some pupils and teachers will be off, there will not be the usual classes and their work. It'll be awkward for a while, with some filling in things.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)1 -
Yes, pollypenny, you could well be right.
I heard that teachers are not supposed to teach the vulnerable children, and those of key workers, as that wouldn't be fair on those that have to stay home!! So I expect it'll be like one big party with loads of music and videos to watch, just like teachers always do at the end of term.
