Lux ac battery controller

I had the same issue, solved in the same way where I have one slot until 23:59 and a 2nd one starting at 00:00. I can't remember the exact reasoning but it was one of a) battery stopped charging at 00:00 or b) battery never went out of ac charge mode at 01:30.mickyduck55 said:@newbuilder interesting that you have the LUX set from 20:30 to 23:59 then a second time of 00:00 to 01:30... I have mine set to 20:30 to 01:30. I run a Pi to decide if I need charge or not so not the same configuration but did you find it did not work with just a single time slot?5.41 kWp System, E-W. As mentioned above it did not like the move over to a new day. I have the hybrid if that makes a difference.mickyduck55 said:@newbuilder interesting that you can have the LUX set from 20:30 to 23:59 then a second time of 00:00 to 01:30... I see it as basic coding where the new day starts at a lower number so the Lux doesn’t know what to do5KW solar, Lux 3.8KW inverter, Uhome 2400 LPF x 6, SOLIC 200 immerser diverter, Leaf 62Kwh, Skoda Enyaq 85, Ohme home charger, Zappi v2.1, Eddi, Import: Octopus intelligent ; Export: Octopus Energy Export, 15KW biomass pellet boiler - Windhager., Home Assistant1 -
If I remember they program a stop at midnight. But that was a year ago it happened to mechamelion said:

I have a single AC charge period from 20:30 to 01:30 and it works fine so maybe it was a coding error that has been corrected in a firmware update?MG4 Trophy, Zappi 2 charger

I wonder why you guys all do 20:30 -01:30 @5.5p?
I find my batteries charge to 95% flat to full in my 3 hours (20:30-23:30) at 4.5p, so surely all of yours will too?
Or is it your EV' s that need the extra 2 hours?West central Scotland

Because that is my off peak for charging car. I believe that the system also balances according to the strain on the incoming AC. So I want to give it as long as is necessary. Also if you force charge it will not use it whilst off peak is running.Solarchaser said:I wonder why you guys all do 20:30 -01:30 @5.5p?

I'm on intelligent octopus, my charging actually starts at 11:30pm.Solarchaser said:I wonder why you guys all do 20:30 -01:30 @5.5p?

If i get some additional 5p slots outside of the 6 hour window i'll charge in advance (e.g. if 7-7:30 is 5p and back to standard rate at 7:30 to 11:30, i'll charge up 7-7:30 so i can live off of battery for a little longer of standard time).5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017

I have a Mk 1 Leaf that only has a 3.3kW on board charger so I need five hours to get a decent amount of charge in on the cheap rate.
I went for the 20:30 start because it lets me run things like the dishwasher and tumble dryer before I go to bed on the cheap rate too (they have no smart functionality and I don't trust them not to burn the house down overnight!)MG4 Trophy, Zappi 2 charger

How do you get a 4.5p or 5.5p period? Mine has been at least 30p all night lately.
