Post Office travel money card fraudulent transaction

We travelled to Las Vegas last September and took a Post Office travel money card loaded with dollars. When we returned I called the support team and they transferred remaining dollars in to pounds, approximately £150. On New Years Eve 2019 I took a call from the fraud team at post office who asked had I authorised a transaction of £120.50 to skiddle.com and had I tried to spend over £500 at Selfridges, answer to both being no.I filled in forms for the fraudulent transaction and emailed them to the Post Office. I have called today to ask for an update and have been told my claim was unsucessful as the user had all my verification details for an online payment. Now, I dont know how this was possible, I have asked them to forward a complaint but basically I am £120.50 out of pocket! I thought this was the sensible option for travel but clearly there is a flaw somewhere. Any ideas if I can chase this further?

Have you tried contacting Skiddle to see who initiated the transaction?
Given that they are UK based it implies that your card details were obtained in the UK rather than Vegas. Do you have any family members who may have used it or have you used it for purchases yourself in the UK?0
