I managed to put quite a lump into Ford Money when it was 1.65% One Year ...and am now contributing to a 1.55% One year.0

Was that before it was marked 'nla'? I think there has been quite a few 1 year FTBs at better rates, which subsequently disappeared very quickly thus floating FS to near top, but showing not available it isn't likely to be listed.SFindlay said:
My FirstSave application was processed fine within a couple of days. You may have seen my other post as I'm wondering why FirstSave don't appear on best buy tables as at 1.7% way out in front!! Wondering if I am missing something??soulsaver said:
I opened a Ford 1 & a 2 year yesterday on the off chance that my F1rstsave app won't be processed.typistretired said:Ford Money have pulled their fixed rate savers luckily I applied for one on Wednesday which opened today so will be topping up over next 14 days
Now I need to sit down in a darkened room with spreadsheet to consider what to do for the best with all the recent changes... and possible opportunities.

Hi,
Has anyone applied for a 3 yr fixed with RCI Bank UK at 1.75%? I'm wondering if a three year fix is a good idea. Any advice?0 -

Me too, Ford were quick to pull their products though I assume they received a large number of applications. I've got an M&S RS maturing on 19th March so will stick that money in the Ford account too.

Opened one this afternoon. The application is different! Had to run up and down the stairs for my NI number and passport. But once completed they immediately emailed me with application reference and how to make deposits.SFindlay said:Firstsave has 1 year fixed at 1.7% available, it may say unavailable on homepage however click on apply button and will take you to application."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
It appears that the fixed accounts are still available when logged into Ford Money online. I have just applied for a 1 year fixed saver and received an email with a temporary application number and advising me that they will send me a secure message when the account is opentypistretired said:Ford Money have pulled their fixed rate savers luckily I applied for one on Wednesday which opened today so will be topping up over next 14 days1 -
Good customer service Ford Money texting to say they have received your deposit as it will not show in account until next business day if you deposit before 4pm.Gers said:typistretired said:Ford Money have pulled their fixed rate savers luckily I applied for one on Wednesday which opened today so will be topping up over next 14 days

Given the current situation I would not be putting vast sums of money away where I could not get it, unless I had another big chunk of money some place else. Many companies could go bust, and many people work for these companies. Although this post may look silly in a couple of months.1

I've always found Ford Money very responsive and good at communication.
