Doesn't really do that much when the b issue is disrupted supply chains and a dwindling workforce but that would require an actual response from the government.

    Nor me.
Time to take take some of the 1.5% 2Yr. fixes. They may be very generous this time next week.
  • Glad I’ve just opened a few fixed rate regular savers, although i’ll have to keep my eye on Coventry as that’s variable.

Hopefully will mean some good deals when I remortgage later this year.

Same thoughts here. Hopefully low rates are here come October. And hopefully I’m still alive :)

Does this mean savings rates will also be reduced again soon?

This does not leave much room for further moves when the recession (that we are now in, but has not been "announced") starts to bite.

So the next worry is negative rates?

This is what happens when following the previous recession, the recovery was never strong enough to get us back to normal interest rates.
