I remember when I gave my instruction over the phone, there has not been any confirmation yet whether the instruction has been executed. Is there a way to know soon rather than later to wait until June??

Wait 'til mid May; if you've not heard by then, phone them.

The phone call confirms "your request has been registered".

If you ring the phone number again and enter the same account details, does it tell you you've already registered? That might be a way of confirming it, for those who are concerned.

The letter I had says its effective from June 1st so now I'm confused.  Ah heck, guess I'll have to keep those 2 DDs active a while longer, and there was me already preparing to chuck 1,500 into the account from next month.

To be certain to get a reward either way, I'm doing in May whatever qualifies for both the old Rewards and the new:
2DDs, cycle £1500 and DC spend £500 - qualifies for either.
However, if you wanted the £5k (through all May to qualify for June reward?) it isn't so clear as if it doesn't qualify you'd have lost a month's interest from elsewhere, c.£5.

@Poor_leno   I refer you to the above - if it's not costing you anything...
ETA FTAOD I'm rolling it onto June, too.

I suppose if I cover the requirements of both then nothing will go wrong, cheers :)

Isn't registered enough for you? If I submit a form or a survey I don't always get a confirmation email.

I tried that (just out of intrigue)... and it doesn't, it acts exactly like it did when you hadn't registered. What I didn't try was changing my choices..
I've got one account which hasn't got a debit card and hasn't got the option to replace it either. .. so I'm going for the £5k on that one.
PS I won't be calling them up... ;)
