I didn't hear anything up until now, therefore, I contacted all the lenders myself which was time-consuming I have heard back from Santander who is informing me to wait as they have a backlog I, therefore, contacted the Ombudsman I am still waiting to hear. Now Fast track is saying I owe money to them and I feel are hounding me with emails and phone calls for £19.50 for a check for £71.00. Am I within my rights not to pay them as I did all the leg work myself? they said there are 5 more lenders they are waiting to hear back from. Not sure what to do please any advice would be great.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y

their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'

If you get two cheques off the SAME lender.....do you have to pay the claims people once or twice
ie...RBS Mortgage. and RBS loan....? I’ve been advised by a friend that it’s only once. HELP PLEASE

Hi.i contacted barclays bank to see if i had ppi two years ago,and thay sent me several letters saying I've no claims on any accounts, used claims firm last year to just see,and got reply from bank to say I've now got a claim.after waiting nearly 7 months for reply, bank sent me a cheque, not for huge amount but ok,
Claim firm now ringing me 3 times a day and letters galore, now texts saying thay are takeing me to court over fee, with the threat that it will harm my credit score if i dont pay now.need a bit of help on what to do.anyone suggest help please.?0 -
You need to pay them.
Do it before they take legal action. It won't get any cheaper.
It's not very honourable to employ someone and then refuse to pay them.0 -
Surly i can counter cost to bank,as its there fault thay failed to Acknowledge claims, also why threaten me with bad credit, they are nothing more than bully's, bullying some one who cant pay because of covid, who's constant phone calls ,emails and text, are makeing me ill with stress, for a poxy few hundred quid, your comment wasn't helpful sorry.0

You can’t pay because of COVID? Did the bank not make you an offer and a subsequent payment? Where’s that money gone? If it’s a ‘poxy few hundred quid’, pay them, it’s clearly not that much to you if it’s a poxy amount.
you hired them for a process you could’ve done easily yourself, you signed their paperwork, you agreed to their fees.
re the costs, you might be able to try and get the bank to make a contribution if you can prove that they deliberately missed your accounts. Banks often bring more data online so them missing your accounts when you asked previously may mean they’ve subsequently found more archive data.Either way, pay the CMC as they absolutely will take you to court. Do you want a CCJ over a poxy few hundred quid?helpful tips
