Demanding Letter from Claims Company

PLEASE HELP!
I originally signed up with a couple of Claims companies and selected all the banks that I have dealt with over the years as I didn't receive a conformation straight away from the first one. Due to some confusion I have signed two authority forms for the same claim - Barclaycard. (Having read this forum I see that I shouldn’t have used a claims company at all – but I think it is far too late now)
Having been contacted by Barclaycard saying I can only have one company act on my behalf, I choose the Claims Guys. However, the other company has now written a threatening letter to me insisting that I withdraw authority from The Claims Guys and tell Barclaycard only to deal with them. They insist I will have to still pay them the fee should Barclaycard uphold the complaint. (I am not sure how they will know if Barclaycard uphold the complaint as Barclaycard won't be dealing with them).
Can you please, please, give me some advice on what to do.
Kind regards,

You'll need to pay both if you gave both authority.2

Thanks for your reply.
So, if I do receive something from Barclaycard, will I have to contact the other company and tell them or will they know? Barclaycard are saying they will only deal with one company on my behalf.

yet another reason this forum advised to avoid CMCs, this is likely to be an expensive complaint as you’re likely to lose roughly half of any redress offered.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)1 -
Hi Brettcta
Thanks for your reply. I wish I came on this forum before I followed through with the PPI case.
How will the other CMC know how much to charge me if they don't know how much - if anything - Barclaycard pay up? If they pay nothing, will I still get a fee from the other CMC? Both of the CMC companies are difficult to contact to speak to.

Hello, last year I went online and filled in a form with Fast Track to see if I had any PPI. I didn't hear anything up until now, therefore, I contacted all the lenders myself which was time-consuming I have heard back from Santander who is informing me to wait as they have a backlog I, therefore, contacted the Ombudsman I am still waiting to hear. Now Fast track is saying I owe money to them and I feel are hounding me with emails and phone calls for £19.50 for a check for £71.00. Am I within my rights not to pay them as I did all the leg work myself? they said there are 5 more lenders they are waiting to hear back from. Not sure what to do please any advice would be great.0
