Thanks so much going to ring fraud in morning. Im more annoyed at myself. Of course i tried buying a freezer also because of corona. Some people just have no conscious. Ive never heard of the bank they are using but i googled it says london. Ill try to get my own bank onto it first

Yes monzo is an online bank, one of these new challenger banks which uses it's app to do everything. Yeah I'm going to contact my bank (lloyds) and see what they say as they have supposedly signed up to this new scheme to stop bank fraud.

I would also contact action fraud and report them, since they have the directors details and address listed maybe something could be done about it, although I'm not keeping my fingers crossed. These !!!!!! prey on people's desperation and weakness in times of crises.

My bank said to wait 15 days (13 as of writing) to then escalate to disputes department. In the meantime I have filed a report with Action Fraud.
