This is a scam website as is STOREFULLY, please avoid, also avoid lionshome
  • Please avoid flygadets
  • Many thanks for this. I almost ordered a chest freezer from them just this morning!
  • I tried to buy a freezer from them this morning could not complete purchase. They advised credit card portal was down but I could pay by BACS or bank transfer. Not proceeding unless can pay by PayPal or have confirmation from a nationally recognised courier that the delivery is under way. Do not expect to complete.
  • I ended up on their site through Kelkoo this morning and my gut feeling is that it's a scam. I asked them if they'll take a paypal payment and they said no, reasoning that Paypal is down because of COVID-19, which I'm sure isn't true. They said I could do a bank transfer but I just don't trust it.

Their company IS registered on companies house, but that's the only info that I can find on them.
  • Hi all,
Do I feel stupid, never fallen for a con before but this one got me. Old freezer died on us last week and next-door neighbour said she would kindly take our frozen food into her chest freezer if it was only for a few days. John Lewis, Currys you name them could only deliver after 10 days minimum. Then came across Fly Gadgets (perfect name, should have known) who could deliver in a couple of days. Credit card did not go through so "could I do bacs?" I hesitated for a couple of hours while I checked out their address, bank code and bank and against my better judgement handed over the money. All chat lines ceased, constant engaged phone and I knew in an instant I'd been conned. Phoned up Santandar fraud could not get through for 2 days due to covid staff shortages and they said not liable as the deal was between me and the bespectacled Mr Anderson because I used BACS. Ah well £150 lost to some scumbag taking advantage in these scary times. Please take care and save your money!

Ahh man, I fell for it too. I was trying to get my parents a freezer for this corona mess and even chatted to this Anderson guy via chat and my initial credit card payment failed so they sent an email for instructions on how to send payment via BACS. Turns out now their website is down and no one's responded to my emails.

I've found a which article that says as of May 2019 there's new regulation to get your money back after a bank transfer to a scam. Talk to your bank and if that doesn't work escalate to the financial ombudsman. The !!!!!! on company's house have a legitimate trading name and address and have directors with full details on there too.
