I don't seem to have any luck! - been with Sky TV and Broadband for approx. 25 years and always paid top whack - phoned up a few times to get a better deal with no luck and eventually said I wanted to cancel as they were wanting £150 per month - they put me through to the cancellation department and the lovely guy(not) told me that he would have to put our cost up as no deals available! - cheers cancellation department you were obviously in a bad mood!

So rather than moan, move.  If they won't give you a better deal, find somebody who will.

What on earth are you paying £150 a month for?  Get a better deal, man!  Move the broadband somewhere else and if you're out of contract with Sky on the TV, you can get a poor man's Sky in the form of Now TV for a significantly cheaper price.

I think you were doing it wrong, OP, as I have never had any trouble getting a deal of some sort. I also think that the chances of anyone actually using £150 worth of services is very remote, and some stuff could be culled if you have a look at what it’s all for and do you really need it.
