RBS Switch Offer - Loophole?

Money paid into my account this morning (so a day early). Either it was a loophole in their T&Cs or they don't bother checking as that's the NatWest and RBS bonus's paid out despite having had a previous bonus payment ( albeit not for opening a new account or upgrading to a rewards account)0
