    I would like to allow meter reads to be taken half hourly, but can't see where to change this on the Myaccount tab of the website.

    On the Half Hourly readings option for smart meters, I've just been told it's no longer possible to switch to this online. You'll need to contact us so it can be set up on your account.
    Before contacting us Steve, can I ask for your understanding please as we all grapple with the Coronavirus pandemic. Falling staff levels and logistical difficulties mean we're concentrating on emergencies and our vulnerable customers. There's more about what we're doing on our website.
    If there's no emergency or threat to your supply, can I ask you not to contact us at this time. If you do need us, it's best to use the Live Chat and Social Media channels (twitter/Facebook) so we can keep the phone lines free for emergencies. Live Chatters and twitter/Facebook advisors are available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 8am and 6pm Saturdays at the moment.
    Apart from Half Hourly readings, there's lots of other stuff on the website to help you keep on top of your account. As soon as we come out the other side of this crisis, we'll return to everyday service issues in the usual way.
