Im due to travel to Rome end of March. The situation in italy is moving rapidly and areas becoming lockdown..Im trying to avoid any risk to myself loved ones and public and changing my flights but jet2 rules state no change in destination and admin fees will be applicable. This feels VERY poor service considering other airlines are now allowing changes to all routes free of charge because of coronavirus

there is no FCO guidance re not travelling to Rome. If there is one introduced then I would expect they would follow the same as they currently have for Venice (where the FCO have advised against travel)
"We always follow the travel advice of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), who are currently advising against all but essential travel to Venice. As such, we are contacting customers who are due to travel to Venice, to offer a suitable alternative (where available) or a refund. We are also contacting our customers who are currently in Venice, to arrange to fly them back to the UK. The health and safety of our customers is always our number one priority."
Travel insurance are also unlikely to refund if you choose not to travel and there is no FCO guidance
If you read this article, the sections onNo FCO warning in place? Don't expect to get a refund if you cancel

FCO advice is now against all but essential travel to all of Italy, so I expect Jet2 will change to take account of that shortly.
