flight moved forward

What are my rights please? I am due to fly MAN to FRA with Lufthansa on 24 March. The original flight I booked was a convenient 9.15 #941, but Lufthansa have changed me to a different flight  at 6.40 #949. The onward flight to Prague still works, but I don't want to have to get to Manchester so early, as I do not live close to Manchester and would now need to get up at 4.40 am and would end up exhausted on arrival- that's the whole reason I chose the original 9.15 flight. Many thanks for any advice

Initial rebooking is usually done by computer
assuming all booked on one ticket, have a look on the Lufthansa website and look for a connection that suits you better then contact Lufthansa and ask for the alternative - eg there is a 12:55 departure that connects to a PRG flight that arrives 18:00
  • Thank you for that. I forgot to say that I have poor immunity due to chemo, so would prefer to cancel this trip and go to Prague next year instead. Could I get a refund? My original ticket says, 'no refunds'.

possibly, you need to refer to article 9 in the conditions of carriage...

I would be surprised if a 2 1/2 hour change in flight time will be classed as 'significant' and give you the right to cancel, but you do need to check the airline t&c's for the facts.  The fact that they can potentially counter your "earlier flight very inconvenient" with the offer of a later flight will possibly weaken the case even further.
Assuming you have travel insurance, and declared that you have been undergoing chemo, the insurer may refund depending on how the coronavirus is affecting the area you plan to travel to.
