Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. My OT did have a think about what would help and organised for some hand rails to be fitted but I can't physically lift my leg up to get into the bath and I am too heavy at the moment to use things like a bath lift as they have a weight limit. My physio is coming again next week so I will ask her for some exercises that will help me.5

Afternoon all! After a very ropey morning [ drank too much rum last night ] I sobered up with copious tea and sausage and eggs...chicken italia sausages [ they were on offer because otherwise, they're too expensive] and am now listening to the massaman curry bubbling away [ using celeriac as well as a few potatoes ], so I've ww'd myself to the max today...It'll make up for yesterday
Everything from the freezer or cupboards...
I'm trying the bicarb and vinegar trick on the bottom of one of my little frying pans to see if it cleans it, if it does, I'll do it on the others.Someone came round today to fetch a very small and annoying [for me] aloe plant [not a vera, something else] which has been sitting producing babies for at least a year. She wanted ti for a Repair cafe to show people how to pot them up. I said take a bit of rosemary too to show them how that's done so she did. I also have a monster proper aloe vera that was in my parents house and left to do it's thing for at least 4 years which means it weighs an absolute ton and had babies all round. I'm planning on doing that one tomorrow after I soak it overnight.I'm so bloody organised today it hurts!Dumpling, that's a shame, but can you not sit on a bath seat that fits on the edges of the bath and sort of swing round? Or have one of those ones that have a door that opens, although I often used to wonder how you filled it after that - answer - very carefully so as to not do a Princess Margaret....Gers , great news for you then, a dishwasher [ I also loathe washing dishes..] and a working oven! whoopeee! Funny about the 4711, I have a bottle in the house I was using to try to scare mosquitoes away, true story..Hope it's better one for her this year...Nanny, all those tablets and a cold on top? You are having a bit of a poo time...Hope one thing sorts itself out because another thing on top might finish you off! And yes, parents hear want they want to hear when talking to docs don't they? And fresh bread? I have some flour in the cupboard, I might give that a go this week. Nelski, congratulations on your hopsital half marathon and the good news received...Have a nice roast...Ruby, glad you had a nice birthdayRight, off to soak the plant...Hey all reading along...Spares and repairs Sunday!

Having a lazy day today, feeling tired. I am still training for a Marathon and completed a half marathon yesterday, it was very cold and I’m finding the training this year a lot harder than last year.O/S not much apart from washing some pots, tidying round and walking the woofers. Going to see if I can talk dh into cooking tonight.
