Hi All,
Hope you are healthy and well in these challenging times.
Just a quick question.. I have 2 days left until the 28 day period is finished as stated on the HMCTS letter. This means CE ltd. Should have notified the court if they are proceeding or not.
In this times I have not received any emails, letters, texts or calls. Is it possible that this will be stayed?
I find it hard to believe that both CE and HMCTS have just haulted during this pandemic.
Even so I would have expected a generic letter as soon as they receive a notice to proceed from CE or a generic letter saying we are postponing these types of claims until the pandemic is over..
Thanks,
O.G0 -
You dont get anything from CEL saying they will proceed.
You just get a DQ
Check MCOL. That will tell you if a DQ has been sent1 -
No, it is not worth taking. What is worth doing is going to court and fighting, bunging in a counter-claim if you think it will fly.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Deadlines that rely on post will no doubt be somewhat relaxed at the moment, for obvious reasons, and you don't know when the 28 days actually started. Stop clutching at straws, the case WILL continue at this stage, only slower than normal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
