Holiday Autos, Goldcar, and AXA insurance

After hiring a Goldcar car through Holday Autos in Tenerife that was broken into, I've spent the last 3 months trying to get the 1179 Euros extra that Goldcar charged to my Credit card. This has involved getting itemised bills from Goldcar detailing the costs of repair, etc - maybe ten phone calls to Spain, repeated uploading of documents to the AXA website. Stolen items obviously not paid for due to no receipts being available,
I'm now down to the last 50 Euro - a penalty charge for not refuelling the car. The reason that I could not refuel the car was because I couldn't drive it due to a smashed windscreen, So who is responsible for the 50 Euro charge?
1. Goldcar for being unreasonable for making unfair charge as I couldnt refuell the car(see below)?
2. Axa Insurance for not covering the full cost that I had to endure due to the break in.
3. Holiday Autos for misleading me in the fact that I would be fully insured if I took out their insurance.
I would advise anyone considering using Holiday Autos/ Goldcar to think again.
Anyone thinking that Goldcar is not a dodgy outfit should read below.
1, On taking out the car, when I inspected it, there were numerous scratches on the car that were undocumented, and I had to spend an hour at the start of the holiday waiting for them to sort out the damage documentation for the car.
2. When I phoned Goldcar to report the damage to the car they told me to go to the Airport, and that I'd get a replacement car. Of course when I got to the Airport they said that I had to go back to the damaged car and arrange for it to be uplifted.
3. When I asked to get a replacement car, they did such an aggressive hard sell insisting that I got their insurance, that I decided that I would be better off not getting another car, and we used public transport for the rest of the holiday.
