Deadline for paying into Lifetime ISA

Apologies if this has already been answered somewhere else - I've had a look and can't see this question anywhere. 
I have a lifetime ISA account with Skipton, and have just transferred in an additional £4,000. While doing this I noticed that the email I had from them last year confirming my bonus says:

Great news, your bonus payment of £1,000.00 has been received from HMRC and added to your Lifetime ISA. This is for any payments made into your account before the 5th March. What’s next The bonus for any payment(s) you’ve made into your account on or after the 6th March will be credited between the 25th April and the 4th of May. I'm now panicking that I've left it too late to receive a bonus for the 2019/2020 tax year. I thought I would be ok as long as my funds are in the account before the end of the tax year? Thanks in advance

It doesn't matter when the bonus is paid, it only matters when you put in the funds which obviously needs to be until the 6th of April

That "What's next" statement was only covering contributions made between the start of the new tax year and the date of the message (which was presumably sent before the end of the first tax year month).

Don't panic as any money that's contributed into the LISA, provided you stay within the £4k per tax year allowance, will get a 25% bonus around 1-2 months later.
