Connection issue using WPS

Hello.
My dad has got SSE fibre set up last week after leaving Sky fibre.
The SSE router is Technicolor DWA 0120 model and a link to specs is https://www.thephone.coop/Documents/Editor/TPC_DWA0120.pdf
The issue I have is that he has CCTV set up and was using a Sky SC201 wireless connector to connect from the NVR to the downstairs router. Nothing has been altered to the CCTV setup apart from the new router.
I have tried for 4 days to get it to connect using WPS but on the SC201 I have power light on and wireless light is a solid amber when it was solid white.
He has a Sky wireless connector on the downstairs Sky box which is usb plug in model which works using WPS button and one that will not connect is LAN connection type.
Yesterday I took the SC201 off the NVR box and plugged into a LAN port on the router and in the router settings it showed up as Sky wireless connector on an ethernet port so I can say that it is working but it will not work wireless/WPS method.
Has anybody got any ideas on how I can get this to work by the WPS method please.

It's not recommended to use WPS to enable connections ... I'm told that it is trivial for someone who knows what they're doing to hack into a network that has WPS enabled.3

Why does it have to be the WPS method?
Just connect with the WiFi password, Job done.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

I used to access the box by the cctv app remotely or a pc in my dad's house to look at footage or adjust things.
The box needs a usb mouse and a monitor or a tv that will take a monitor lead input so you can gain access to the cctv box and to see what you are doing and to then put in the wifi details. Where the cctv box is placed is out of the way and is not easy to get to without 2 people to being in the same place to pass items safely without breaking things or bones.
The main reason I used the SC201 was that it had WPS and it was not possible to run a LAN cable to the downstairs router so having the button to press seemed the ideal solution.
This has worked ok for over 2 years and it has only been like this since the new fibre router was installed.

Why not set the SSID and WiFi password to the same as what the previous router was? The CCTV will probably automatically connect (if it has retained the old details).
Perhaps, to test this, you could set up your phone as a WiFi access point using the old router details and see if the CCTV connects.1 -
Disclaimer - I'm not an expert but could it be that the new router is dual-band and by default connects at 5GHz and the CCTV uses only the 2.4GHz band? At least that was my problem when I upgraded my BT router.1

That's a possibility ... make sure that the 2.4 and 5GHz bands have separate SSIDs and are not linked.0

I use the Sky SC201 connector from the box using LAN patch lead from box to SC201 and that connects to the router over wifi.

Edit - Goggled the Sky SC201 and see it's 2.4GHz only.
