I would imagine that the 'kick up the bum' will ensure that the hygiene rating goes up. Take advantage of it! It's a bit like Ofsted inspections - a school gets an unsatisfactory inspection, money is poured into the school and, suddenly, it becomes THE place to send your child. Three years later it's back to special measures. Rinse and repeat.
