Not sure why this is so difficult to resolve. If the insurer is saying it's a payment issue then use a different card or call the card issuer and explain what's happening.

How does that help when speaking to someone on the phone? ;)

This has happened to me in the past, clearing out cookies and starting again can work, but not if the issue is the card/account itself. Should the cookie tip fail then phone the card provider for help.

It's not a card issue as we have tried different cards and accounts.

Weve done this but they are unable to tell us what the problem is.
And they can't take payment for the policy directly over the phone?
Nope! That's why we are so stumped. Nothing has changed since the last policy at all.
So they have tried to take the payment over the phone and that has also failed - or they won't take payment over the phone?

It's not a card issue as we have tried different cards and accounts.
Have you spoken to the bank to confirm this?
Just because its happening on different account does not mean it is still not a card issue. Have you tried anyother online payments with the cards?
