OPODO Flight Trackers

We were going on a cruise, in 3 weeks time.  From Singapore.  We were advised by Royal Caribbean, that they would be cancelling the cruises for March.  We have been offered a full refund from them.  We booked our flights separately, using OPODO to do this.  Never again.  When we booked we paid extra, for cancellation or flight changes.  Now we have have found out, that this actually only refers to the admin fees it would involve if we needed to do this.  We don't want to cancel all of the flights,  we rung them up, to ask if we could just alter the destination of 1 part of the flight, so to land in Thailand instead of Singapore.   We have been quoted £490 each, to do this.  Etihad, who we would be flying with, say that wouldn't be a problem with them, but as our contact is with OPODO, then they have the last say.

there does not appear to be anything on the Etihad website that says they are offering free destination changes on Singapore flights which means Opodo will charge the fees as per the fare rules of the ticket type purchased - change fee £105 or £140 per flight (assuming you don't have a Flex ticket) plus any fare difference
Because you purchased the Opodo cover, they should not charge you any additional fees of their own

Not that it helps now but in future NEVER book flights with anyone but the airline you are flying with.
