It's not exactly the Great Famine of 1959-61, is it?It could well be, but we're generally a lot more mobile than in 1961 so viruses will spread a lot faster. We're also generally less self sufficient as people specialised further.We can of course, work remotely now and there are a lot less factories, so it has it's advantages.Plus, anyone who made it through the Great Famine of 1959-61 will be long retired now. Even those born during it will be 60.0
