Quick flypast.
Lots of checking of temperatures and a couple of pointed calls to people who have had globetrotting family members over the last couple of weeks.
My hands, already those of a 60 year old, are now seemingly approaching their nineties with the sheer amount of washing, despite posh dermatologist prescribed cream. But work is being eminently sensible, measured and responsible. Which is reassuring.
Himself's work, less so. Heavy dose of hysteria there. He's not telling them that I deal with multiple sick children daily including some of overseas origin, or they'll probably try and get him banned from the office with the assistance of pitchforks and blazing torches.
He has definitely upped his flying quality and quantity recently (kitchen and bathroom in particular) and has asked if there's anything else I should tell him. So he's been taught NHS handwashing.
Not much flying needed at present. A proper spring clean will most likely happen in the event of an enforced two week wonder. Mainly to make me too tired to kill him if we're cooped up together for that length of time.
CBA to get involved in the panic buying. So I've bought a new purse, a new handbag and am currently perusing various items of clothing and furnishings. Much better than trying to find an online supermarket that actually has delivery slots and things like toilet rolls and cat food.
Anyhow, I'm off for a nice hot shower and hopefully, an early night.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll9 -
Morning all,
Quick one from me as running late, very heavy AF meant i had a poor night sleep and needed a long hot shower when I got up. We are all ready to go, it is results day for one of my Btec groups tomorrow so a lot of stressy girlies to calm.

World Book Day costumes sorted... they are doing Alice in Creepyland so Dot was INSISTENT she was being Cheshire Cat.. so I have him, an Alice (Squeak) and Mad Hatter (Pixie) .. Twinkle can have the Eeyore costume, I have it somewhere I think.
Boog birthday sorted (21 today).. Twinkle bought him some jammie dodgers and bourbon biscuits.. she asked if she could get them for him for his birthday and I said yes.. it was just too sweet to say no to! 95P won't break the already very broken bank.
I have £40 left in bank after a necessary shop for cereal, milk, loo roll, cat biscuits, dairy free ice cream and milk, squash and cake.
My head is full of shrimps today.. all hopping about and not achieving very much. DD1 is having chickens over her DS1.. he has major sensory issues and has been stealing sweets and money and licking his face sore.
Shopping put away.. and I need to wrap.. and boss someone to vacuum.
Delegate poo trays.
Cuppa and nursery and cracking on with folding washing.

Quick visit - bathroom steam cleaned beyond belief yesterday; however Mr Wolf is in the doghouse. He was supposed to assist - he took the removable covers off the bathlift and scrubbed them, which was, admittedly, helpful, but then he goofed off to look at garbage on t'internet, leaving me to deal with the bathlift, bath, loo, wash basin, tiles and towel rail by myself. Not impressed. He's been sent to THOROUGHLY dust the bedroom. I bet his idea of "thoroughly" will entail dusting ROUND everything that should be MOVED and dusted. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)9

Lots more flying off piste today 5 bags of stuff gone from house, half a car load of stuff to charity shop, 3 sets of curtains spot cleaned with Elbow Grease and de-furred with Marigolds, 1 set put through the WM ready to rehang tomorrow. Cats toilets done and my bed defuzzed with Marigolds, as DFF1,2,3 AND 4 were on my bed overnight.
Phonecalls made to accept PPI settlement offers, so might redecorate/repair long standing frogs with some of that...not a lot but still worth having.
Hoping to have a productive day tomorrow and get some more off the lists.....I just have to show what's outstanding, so I can see what I need to prioritize when next week comes around.
A little tip to avoid ratty tails in the bath trap......I hide a chrome kitchen sink strainer in the bathroom baskets....when I pull the plug out, I quickly slot the strainer into position Voila.....lots of hair caught before mangled hair get in the trap. With 3 girls in the house all with long hair, tis is my new non negotiable rule..(I had Dyno Rod out before Xmas for blockage, so not paying that again)
Right, time for WUDUPA and bed..back tomorrow xxThe cold never bothered me anyway7 -
Morning all,
chilly and overcast today. Work all day, results day for my girlies, very excited and nervous. I did a wash last night which is over the airer, need to check bank account then it's off to work I go, have super days all xx8 -
fingers crossed the the Sparkly girls and their BTec results - and for ASB because obviously it impacts on you, too.
DW x 1; emptied. Last nights WUALTD put away (plastic boxes). Bin out. Less than half full (black landfill bin) *glow*

Thank you Honey Bear8 -
Good luck vibes to ASB and her girls. And to any flykids waiting for the same results.
Wm run and clothes hung up, HHI, bedding changed and queuing to be washed when I get home. DR curtain flew off its pole earlier and a bag of rice appears to be leaking in the cupboard. I really ought to just go back to bed and start the day again, but off to see what job 2 has in store for me. After the morning that I had at the other job yesterday, things should only get better. I’m hoping to get home at a reasonable time as I have a whole list of “extras” that somehow need tackling.
Have a lovely day all.8
