Afternoon all,Sorry to have been a bit MIA this week. On Thursday night, DS2 started with a sickness bug so have been frantically cleaning everything with antibac spray and doing copious amounts of washing of bedding cuddly toys, sofas etc that have fallen victim. I was at work all day on Friday and went to Mr A on the way home to find that everything I needed had run out, so went to Aldi and they had most of what I needed. DH got home from work yesterday and immediately took himself off to bed, and then was being sick all evening too, so more cleaning. I'm determined that DS1 and I won't catch it if I clean enough and he's been briefed on how to properly wash his hands at school too due to COVID-19 which I'm impressed with. Obviously I've taught him before, but because school have told him, it seems to have become more important.Good news is that I can see the bottom of the laundry basket and the kitchen floor is also no longer hidden under a pile of our bedding (ours wasn't a priority as not sicky). Need to pop out to a shop at some point this afternoon to buy some bread as went to make my toast this morning to find ours had gone mouldy.
DH still in his sick bed - he tried to come down to watch tv this morning and I sent him back up so he doesn't spread his germs everywhere. lol
Congratulations to Deleted_User and your student on their results. Also congratulations to roundtuit and all the others in slinky club who have lost weight.Jazee I'm glad that your DD's injuries weren't too serious and they're both ok - still shakes you up a bit though doesn't it?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20178 -
Two hours and one kitchen cupboard is sorted, there's a sack of rubbish, lots of recycling and a charity bag full. I've stopped now as the front half of the main cupboard of doom is tidy. I know what is stored in the back of the cupboard- dvds, books and old paperwork- but that sorting can wait. Coat cupboard also rearranged.
just having a cuppa then I need to wash the lunch dishes and get out with the dogs again.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Just popping in to *wave* at everyone.Still struggling; however I've made a cherry crumble and a nut loaf, both of which will be cooked after the veggie toad in the hole (tonight's dins) comes out of the oven. Crumble will be dessert for next few days, nut loaf will be sliced and frozen for future dinners. Thought I'd do it while I felt able to.Mr Wolf has been on WUDUPA detail. Well - he does the WUDU bit and I PA otherwise I'd never find anything again! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)8

Afternoon all
Dh tackled the ground floor while I popped out this morning. Since coming back I have done some batch cooking, curry, soup and bolognese all now stashed in the freezer with supper also ready for Monday and Tuesday evenings when we are both out.
Weather has been bad here again, a bit sunny followed by heavy rain, after all my cooking I’ve had an hour or so with my book.Hope you are all having a good day. Hugs to those in need x7 -
Apricot and plum crumble made. Played with and brushed the dogs. It's now down time so I'm all happy and relaxed when DH gets in from the paid stuff. Don't think he'll be too happy with all the panic buying.
See you all on the new thread.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
I am a rubbish human.
I have done NOTHING..
I haven't called dr's, not arranged dryer repair. I haven't paid my bills (mainly because I have no money to do so!) not done opticians appointments.
and looking on the more positive side of things..
I have posted several ebeast parcels and listed more items, I have just done pics of 2 more things which I am listing in a minute.. I have had £104 in sales though which is just about managing to keep us in food.. I borrowed £150 from Boog.. so not doing too badly.. OH is paid on Friday but we have no pasta which is all Dot eats, no fruit or salad which is all I eat and I had to pay £21 at vet for wormy stuff for mogs.. bleurgh!!! I considered that an emergency! Phone bill comes out tomorrow (£113)
I have folded the clean washing my mother dired, some needs putting away but it is folded.I have tried to keep on top of washing drying it on the heated airer, and radiators.. not doing too badly but I still need to change my bedding and OH keeps taking it off and putting it on the sofa where it is left and a kitten pees on it.. NOT really as helpful as it could be!
Had a laugh yesterday.. I got a letter asking me to make a Drs appointment about some 'recent test results' ... my last lot of tests was 8th December.. not really recent if you ask me! I'm tempted to ring to ask what tests because I've had none done since last year.. see what they say!
This week
Boog has an interview on Monday 2pm (I think)
we have dentist Tuesday.. and Dot has dentist Tuesday.. taking her is not fun at all. Boog has interviews for an apprencticeship 11am .. good job I checked I thought it was Wednesday!
Parents evening Wednesday but OH is working so I have an extra school run in there.. DD3 will be here though and she will get the girls ready for bed because it will be fairly near bedtime by the time I get back.. I may borrow her bike to see if I can still ride one and to speed up my movement.
Boog has diabetic eye screening on Wednesday too.. IF!!!!! I can get him to go without me.. which might not happen.
Wow.. Boog will wear clothes and go outside 3 days on the trot!! He hasn't done that since he left school in 2018!!
No children as they are at DS1's partners for tea.. so I am home alone and seriously considering a chinese with my ebeast cash (salad and fish and new potatoes will happen though!)LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -
