Sewer Water soaked Hardwood Flooring

Hi there,
We are currently going through our insurance due to the recent flooding. Our property suffered rain water as well as water from the backed up sewers which came into our ground floor which is solid wood. The insurance company sent in a restoration company and they have put three dehumidifiers which is doing the job of drying the floor but as well as it being warped and now floating, my issue is it’s been left for us to walk on etc when it’s soaked up sewer water? I’m just recovering from cancer treatment and there’s children here, surely this isn’t healthy?
The insurance company surveyor is coming out tomorrow but i’m just concerned as stated above. Just wondering is this normal or okay?
Many thanks all
