SANTANDER - BARCLAY HTB ISA SWITCH

Hello all.
Is it possible to switch my Santander help to buy ISA to Barclays?
I don't have an account with Barclays however I do have a Barclaycard if that makes any difference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

According to the MSE HTB ISA article, there are hardly any providers still offering these accounts for switchers, and Barclays isn't one of them: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/help-to-buy-ISA/#accordion-content-230795357-7
  • I wanted to open a 3 yr ISA with Barclays by transferring an old isa from Coventry BS. I have  paid money in / opened another isa this yr in May and invested this tax years allowance. I was told i couldn’t open the Barclays account as I would be opening 2 ISAs this tax year. I thought transferring ‘old ‘ isa money didn’t count. Can anybody confirm the correct info . Thank you.

You are correct and whoever told you there's a limit to the number of cash ISAs you can open in a tax year is wrong. - but why post this in a thread about HTB ISAs?
