I didn't realise it was normal to carry driving license everywhere. Mine is hidden in a drawer at home. Is there a law about carrying it when driving? Sometimes I don't take any cards out with me, I worry I'd lose it.
Edited to add: I've just checked, it is not the law to carry driving license while driving.- How much cash? Usually none. Sometimes have a few coins in my pocket if I've had to withdraw and pay for something with cash.
- How many debit and credit cards? Which ones? 2 debit cards (1 is for if I need to withdraw cash and the other I have to use once a month to meet bonus terms), 1 credit - everything goes on this.
- How many rewards/loyalty cards? Which ones do you carry? Sainsbury's and Boots
- What else do you carry in the wallet? (e.g. gym pass, travelcard, etc) I don't have a wallet, just a little card holder.
- Do you pay for things with your phone? Which app? No. I did use the Tesco Pay thing for a while but it's easier just to whip a card out.

If you're stopped by the police for whatever reason and can't produce a license you'll have to produce it at a police station within 7 days afaik.1

Especially as a child receiving something in a physical format was always nice, even though I had a bank account so in theory it could be sent electronically.
Being able to pay in cheques using a phone app though is great. I used it for the first time on Friday, expecting to see the money in my account on Monday. I was surprised as to how many banks are offering this, I had a couple of choices but deposited with HSBC.1 -

I keep it in a safe place with the rest of my important documents. I can understand why it is common to carry it around though, just in case you need to identify yourself, or as proof of age etc.I am glad to see that nobody has mentioned carrying a National Insurance Numbercard. From time to time I see one in someone's wallet/purse and wonder, "why would you need that in there?"1
