Have been with TT for a number of years now, was on a deal £25 which has now run out and increased now to £36.
Went with BT for £30 but for super fast speeds plus £115 though tcb, due to go live on 3rd March.
I received an email from TT last week for £19.95, plus a follow up phone call offered me £60 credit and speed boost. So I changed my mind and told them I'd like to stay.
I presumed I would receive an email confirmation of everything but when I've checked a few days later nothing has been changed.
A very frustrating 90 mins on chat, followed by another half hour on the phone, it turns out because of the cease on the line, nothing was actioned.
My question is is there much point phoning bt tomorrow or is this poor service maybe an omen to move on? Tbf I've only had to contact them 2 or 3 times in about 3 years and they've sorted out all problems before.
I've worked out TT will be £100 cheaper over the 18 months.
What do yous think?

You can cancel up to 14 days after the service commences. However if TT have put a cease on the line and it is disconnected before 3/3, then you will lose your number. No free lunch, and no free laptop1
