Sky: mid-contract price rise: can I cancel the contract?

Hi,
I've had an email from Sky to tell me that my monthly cost is going up by £2 from 1st April and it's prompted me to consider that I don't actually need to keep my Sky deal (TV only) as I don't use any of the features plus I have netflix etc which covers all my needs.  It's not the money but that I don't need it any longer.
Can I therefore cancel my Sky without paying any penalties as they've changing the price mid-contract ?

Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks.
