Poptelecom keeps dropping out

Options
So i have made the mistake of joining poptelecom. switch took place on the 4th Feb, and since then, its been poor.
For the past 2 years i have been with nowTV, and then talktalk, and never had a single issue, but everyday since joining Pop, the internet keeps dropping out, numerous times a day. Drops out for a few mins, the reconnects, then it'll be fine for a few hours, then happens again and so on.

I got in touch with them via email, and they responded quickly, saying the drop outs were due to them testing the line. Could that be true?  I did then receive a call from them, and the bloke tried to sort things out by talking me through changing the settings for the router. And said if that does work, we can try again on a different sever, and try again if that doesn't work.

I hate the thought of this always happening for the next year. Would I be in my rights to cancel without having a termination fee?

No that depends upon T&C of your contract . Usual is you must give them chance to fix a problem and both agree to terminate without charge .
