A little reminder about your contract

Virgin sent me a very 'sweet' email reminder that my contract ends next month. However my incentives run on until August, giving me a discount from £50 to £32 (broadband, phone & calls).
Would I be 'out of contract' and free to move in August, or does continued use of the service begin a new contract period?
