Indeed, but is cashback available on the cheapest rates? I don't think I could have got cashback on my recent Gulf gas switch.
Did you check all the options in the llink above?

And not everyone uses up to 60,000 kWh of gas per year as you claim.

The average is just 12000 kWh pa
Blimey, another poster with the @DawnCrush obsession with my gas consumption. In my previous property we were on target for 60,000 kWh but after sorting the worst draughts and winding down TRVs we ended up just under 55,000 kWh for the year. Current property is looking to be 40,000kWh for the year.
Why the obsession with my "claimed" consumption?  It is what it is. I know what average consumption is, I know what I use. What's the actual problem?
I always check multiple comparison sites before switching. Single fuel, dual fuel, E7, non-E7, cashback, no cashback, direct, indirect, green, blue, the works.
  • Thanks everyone who replied. After doing an energy compare on the Which site,Peoples Energy came back the cheapest for gas,so decided to switch to them. Was with Bulb, but their prices are now too highand very slow to answer emails.

What rates did you manage to get?
I see Gulf have cut their rates again: 17.987p per day & 2.342p/kWh for Scotland.

As I understand it, the cheapest gas rate currently available from Peoples Energy for a high user in the North Scotland supply region would be 22.50p per day and just 2.115p per kWh

I've just switched to Gulf - 2.2715p/kwh inc VAT - That's cheaper than I've paid since before 2009 when I first started to keep pdfs of old bills.
