Because it was pitch black it was impossible to take any meaningful photos without a flash, and of course the flash makes it all seem so much brighter. What won it was the video, taken very slowly from within the carpark & showing a full 360 degree view, along with another video showing the car approach, enter & park without a single sign coming into view.
I also did 'belt & braces' by submitting them to court by USB and a link, and also taking my laptop with me - which is just as well, as even though the court staff had confirmed they could get them to play OK, the judge on the day couldn't, so we had to rely on my laptop - not easy in these Covid times. I did the same with the screen-grabs, as by the time they'd been photocopied most were fairly useless.7 -
