Single gal balancing my way to mortgage freedom!

Thanks @Scottishlass! I'm quite new to Prolific and had a mind blank not realising I could cash out whenever and didn't have to wait. Ahh well!
Call about the new job went well. I'll find out whether I've been shortlisted by the hiring manager by the end of the week. Not entirely sure I woudl take it if I got offered it, but good experience and worth exploring anyway. Been a bit of a better week in my current role at the moment, despite a very late night working on Monday night!
WIll do a full account shuffle today given it is the start of the month, and get a proper update on the mortgage. I think it will be down into the £160s, woo!
I decided to make the full £4k payment into my new LISA yesterday, to maximise the interest and Government bonus. Still have my emergecy fund too, it came out of holiday fund (remember those?!) and house updates/decorating fund. So going forward I expect to split a bit more between OPs and topping those funds back up a bit.5 -
Just popping by, I’ve actually being going into work and cycling the 1hr 40mins there and back. Good news on the job front, and the potential £160s mortgage. That’s an amazing start in such a few months x

Thanks @Sandyra! Feels good to have a strong start, knowing I won't maintain it but it's a wonderful base.
Well done on the cycling; are you enjoying it? 1h40 each way is a great effort, you must be tired but hopefully feeling good! I need to get back out on my bike.. The weather has put me off recently though!1 -
Having interview experience is always a good thing, especially when you've been in the same role for a while. See what happens at shortlisting as even if offered later on you dont need to accept it.
Well done on getting the mortgage down and good luck with the shuffle, never take your eye off the ball when it comes to financial matters.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -

Great job cycling that distance in the rain!
I'm officially in the £160k's! 🎉 Seems like a weird thing celebrating so much debt but these are the milestones we have to celebrate! Regular DD including £150 OP went out and then I added £50 for good measure. For July I'm hoping to add another £100 from Prolific payouts and rounding down my current account on a Monday.
I'm going to look into putting some bits on eBay or similar too. Having lived for the past 3 months out boxes as I've been slowly decorating my room is helped me realise I have so much more stuff than I need. So I'm going to spend a little bit of time this weekend identifying some bits to list and see if I can make some pennies.

@frankersBri don't know much about Prolific is it a good return? I'm on you.gov but I'm nowhere near a payout. 2 weeks ago, I joined Populuslive, you get a £1 for each survey you complete, not sure if it is of any interest to you, but I thought I would mention it as I did one today.
