Was anybody referred to switch to Nationwide recently? Switch reference number format question

Idiots from Nationwide say in the online form "you’ll be given an 18 digit switch code beginning FSW".
Well, it's clearly not 18 digit as FSW is part of the code followed by "I" in my case. This wouldn't be a problem if after 12 digits the penultimate character wasn't a letter "J". And the last one is "0" or "O" that are impossible to distinguish with the font used to print the letter.
So, my code is FSWI************JO, where asterisks represent digits.
Does anybody know whether the last character is the letter or the digit (zero)?

There are enough check digits within the 18-character code that one wrong 'digit' won't mean someone else's switch is credited!1 -
My father has the flexiaccount, can he refer me so we receive £100 each when I’m a member through a mortgage account only?0

Can I recommend someone who already has a Nationwide current account?
Yes, you can. They'll need to complete a full current account switch of their non-Nationwide current account to their Nationwide FlexAccount, FlexPlus or FlexDirect account (only these current accounts qualify under the offer). At least two Direct Debits will need to be transferred as part of the switch (standing orders and recurring card payments don't qualify). See the Terms and Conditions for more details.
