Afternoon all,
Over the last tax year my wife (who is a teacher)has had a pay rise to £56434 which has taken us over the £50k threshold. When going through her payslip as we have not had p60 yet for this year, I am getting confused on what figures to use and whether there are any deductions. She had tried phoning hmrc but they were not very helpful! If anyone could shed some light it would be most appreciated.

On Her last payslip it states what her salary will be. There is also a total gross pay td column which will be slightly less than her final salary. Which figure can I put in the benefit calculator. Secondly in the year to date column it say pension td( including AVC). Can this be deducted off the final gross salary. I realise there is a month left of this tax year and I am just trying to clear my brain.
Many thanks,
Many thanks,

You should use her 'taxable pay' after pension contributions have been removed. You can also deduct the gross value of any gift aid payments she makes.1

see this guidance https://www.gov.uk/guidance/adjusted-net-incomeInformation I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1
