New employer asking to see my P60

I think what Allez might be saying here is that he got a lot of criticism (abuse even) based on a black and white view of right and wrong: This is How the World Should Be and Any Other View Makes You a Liar Who Must be Condemned. There was little understanding of the process of negotiation. Many of the comments were devoid of any sense of nuance; the fact that employers can seek to depress salaries by asking for irrelevant info which is a far bigger systemic problem that entrenches disadvantage than including the value of all benefits when asked to state salary, which some companies actually expect you to do; and gloated over the trouble they hoped/imagined he would get into. In the circs, and given his treatment, it's understandable that he'd come back to update.
Allez, you sound like you're in a good place; well done.

What has that got to do with anything?Allezallez89 said:
You didn't see what she wrote and what she called me - she was warned by the moderators and her post removed - perhaps get your facts right next time before passing comment....74jax said:
I doubt very much that it would ruin anyone's weekend, what a weird thing to write...............Allezallez89 said:Just an update guys, Undervalued will be upset to learn that not a word has been mentioned. HR have been through all of my paperwork as well as my boss and not a dicky bird so I guess I was worrying for nothing. I am loving my new job and even in the short time frame I have been there my new colleagues have commented that I am already 'adding value' so all's well that ends well. Have a great weekend everyone, and UV hope this doesn't ruin yours x.
The fact I have is you saying you hoped it didn't ruin their weekend.
Regardless of what was or wasn't said / removed, my reply was that I doubt it would ruin a weekend.
My facts are right thanks, no one would have a 'ruined' weekend over your post. And yes, I do think you thinking it would is weird.
