iPhone 11: half case, full case or wallet/folio? Best protection at the best price
In your opinion, what is the best protection for your phone - case or folio/book style?
I'm about to purchase an iPhone 11 and am considering both a clear case, such as the Spigen Ultra Hybrid or Ringke Fusion, with a screen protector that will keep the phone as slim as possible (and potentially show off the colour if that's what I go for) or a folio/wallet style as I currently carry around my gym and bus passes in the back of my SE case, which I find very handy. I've also seen the full clear cases that offer both a back and front, such as the Spidercase or i-Balson, but wondering if using the screen is impacted with these? I have gone down rabbitholes for hours reading reviews and, with cases ranging from a few pounds up to nearly £100, I'm after the best protection at the best price as I have had a couple of cracked screens in my time. I also have smaller hands and upgrading from the SE to the iPhone 11 is going to take some getting used to already, so something that has the best protection with the least amount of bulk would be ideal, though I do understand the more padding the better the protection. What do you think is the most durable/compact/convenient case out there for the best price? No leather please.

I have the Apple branded silicone case for my iPhone 11 Pro. It cost £45 and worth every penny. I put the longevity for my iPhone 7 lasting 3 years down to a silicone case. The case is grippy and sticks to your hand. I brought the same silicone case but for my 11 pro and since September haven't dropped my phone once.1
