Cold Sales Calls - Wrong Name
Comments
-
That is always my initial approach, but some don't seem to take the hint and still keep calling anyway for months on end. The worst just appear to take any human voice on the other end of the line as some sort of 'success' and keep trying. So far my method of simply not speaking but leaving the line open has proved very effective with these. There's is a limit to how long even the most persistant cold caller wants to spend talking to complete silence. I think they probably assume they've called a SIM card in a burglar alarm, automatic gate opener, etc and take the number of their list.redux said:
Don't mess about with any of these oddball suggestions
Politely say it's a wrong number, and the calls will tail off.0
