Well I came home from my lunch meet up to find I had missed some action! The affected-by-possible-flooding neighbours had got on to our local councillor when speaking to the alleged person in charge drew a blank and, lo and behold, the next thing they knew a drain cleaner pulled up! Let's hope this sorts the problem out. It hasn't affected me as I am at the start of the avenue up a few steps but those on the flat were quite worried when the water was approaching their doors. All for want of the drains cleaning!
GERS you must have to bite your tongue a lot and it's not always easy is it. Just a bit of appreciation isn't a lot to ask for what you do and have given up to care for your DM. To be treat like "staff" is just not on.
It's been the forecast mix of snow, sleet and rain (with odd snippets of blue sky) which was just what they forecast. It would be lovely to have at least one dry day with a bit of sunshine thrown in. Sadly it sounds as if we have worse to come!!
Enjoy the rest of the day if you can folks xx
