Is there a way that we can view more posts on the page at all, otherwise we end up with about 12(or more) pages at the end of a week, when previously the Flylady one only had something like 4 to view in a week. I've been browsing to see if I can find anything to increase the posts on a page, but so far unsuccessful.
Oh and thank you for enabling us to see how many thanks on a post, as well as seeing who has posted when you hover over the thanks - at least I can now tell if I've forgotten to thank a post

A bit more than a 2 minute job to reformat both the messages and the page layout to get rid of all the wasted space (much of it white) so we see as many messages in the same amount of scrolling as the old forum. * But it needs to be done *As already requested several times by others and me.The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0

I second/third this. Never really understood why I keep having to click on "Page 1 2 3 4" etc. why not just have them all on one long page they can download faster than I can read!1

Agreed - please fix this with urgency, 40 posts to a page was much better for reading the threads.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

The new forum seems to load only 10 posts per page, which is nowhere near enough for me.
For any threads containing back and forth conversation, it takes ages to read with all of the endless clicking back and forth between pages to see a full conversation.
As far as I can gather it's just a setting in the control panel for the forum (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyTBIn2siGs), but it seems like Vanilla is very poor at offering per-user customisation. Do you have the ability to offer per-user customisation for this? If not, is there a possibility of increasing it a bit? Even 20 as I recall was the vbulletin standard would be an improvement - for me 50 is more comfortable.0 -
One of the great things about this new forum is the lack of flexibility
Your question has been asked many times and MSE has never answered it yet so it looks like we are stuck with 10/page.

Given that my research has demonstrated it's a single toggle option, it's very frustrating that no-one has even bothered to respond.
It's exactly this type of issue that adds a small level of frustration to using the platform - and whilst I'd never suggest that it's sufficient for me to stop using the site, these issues build up until it feels more frustrating than enjoyable to browse1 -

Hence site traffic seems well down and a lot of regulars are simply not seen to post any more. Why should they when it seems more trouble than it's worth, and they are treated with apparent contempt by the site owners, not even given the courtesy of a reply in many cases.

Bumping in the vague hope that someone can be arsed to read it0
