Opening a stocks and shares ISA

I have a lifetime ISA I opened last year (November 2019), does opening this lifetime ISA mean I cannot open a stocks and shares ISA until the end of this current tax year (April 2020) or can I open one as it’s a different type of ISA?

    The latter, they're different types so you can pay into both concurrently, as long as you don't exceed the overall annual £20K contribution limit in aggregate.
