Tell him they're on Sky next Friday! Is £30 for both of you? That's cheaper than Sale Sharks' ticket prices.

That's because the company I work for sponser Bath Rugby and we get ticket offers, if not it would have been about £60 and I definately can't afford that!!

Was gonna say...cheapest at Sale are about £15-20, but that's in the little open stand. Just heard that we've sold out for Leicester on 23/12 - and it's on Sky! Must be all the blokes getting out of last minute Chrimbo shopping!

OH plays for a local team, but I have never seen a professional match, I'll get round to it sometime.

We did look at going to a match on Boxing Day but there aren't any. But the local club is having a big Christmas/New Year match day on the Saturday after Christmas so that will have to be my rugby for the Christmas season

Hi, I'm quite new to this forum stuff, and really enjoying hearing other people's stories, and being able to pick up useful tips. Instead of going out in my lunchbreaks, using precious petrol, and spending money in the shops for something to do, I can sit at my desk for free, eating my packed lunch, and getting helpful advice and support from all you lovely people! It makes me feel all warm inside (although that could be the soup I'm eating!):j

Welcome to MSE Mrspoor. I too would use the internet during my lunch but sadly if anyone ever sees me sitting at my desk then I'm asked if I can spare them a minute (which lasts until 2 minutes before the end of my break:().

The advice here is wonderful (and friendly).

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing okay?

I have got parents night tonight for Erin... ooer! Could be interesting as she is a bit of a b*gger at times! Wish me luck!!

Academically (if that matters in P3?) she is not bad, that's to say she didn't have to re-do P2 which some of her peers did, so couldn't be that bad. Sometimes i think she has been here before and knows it already, some of the stuff she comes out with!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

:j I'm having a good day (as was yesterday). Been on a visit to my school - little rural school, 30 odd kids - and I had a great time. Kids were lovely, staff were lovely. Let's just hope I get to go on my full placement in January.
Reality check - hit rock bottom on 15 Dec 2008 with unsecured debts of £29,136 and not enough money to live on

    :j NOW DEBT FREE!!!! :j

It's a really good atmosphere when you get there - our 3rd date was Sale v Goucester - Jason Robinson was about 5yards in front of me when warming up....phwoooaar! We now have season tickets (DF buys them for our anniversary pressies!) so travel from Blackpool to stockport every other Friday night - and it's flipping cold in the winter!

Barbarians v South Africa on TV this weekend, Bath are on Sky next Friday, and Sale v Leicester on 23 December - the joy of tv rugby is wine / beer on tap and there's no queue for the Ladies at half time!

Bearing in mind who you now work for, I guess it could have been worse - i.e. Roy Wood!
